The unique five layer mixed bed cartridge has an integrated filter that removes water vapor, hydrocarbons, odor and taste in the first stage before removing CO and CO2 levels with a combination of activated alumina, 13X molecular sieve mix and activated carbon. This is followed by a catalyst to convert CO to CO2, all materials being snow storm filled for maximum packing density and held in place by an integral 1 micron particulate after filter.
